Ronnie Bird and Kevin Finlay started playing hockey against one another and then together at provincial and tertiary levels. Little did they know they would be working together on the exciting prospect of distributing Mercian hockey equipment in South Africa.
Ronnie and Kevin are both passionate about the sport having played from a young age and having played, school, tertiary levels, provincial, junior national (school and u21) and a few other levels of indoor and outdoor hockey! Kevin and Ronnie are still involved in coaching and umpiring hockey at various levels and always keen to give back to the sport that gave them so much over the years.
